Sylvan Touring + Vans will stick to one another just fine without any help from clips and straps.

Riding fixed or freewheel?
If fixed I would go plastic as will not put a hole in the top of your vans as quickly.

Wondering which toe clips i should get with the mks sylvan touring pedals. Plastic or steel? Single or double? I want to use them with vans-style shoes. Any sugestions?
