  • I've often wondered this, pursuit riders generally seem to have their arms quite a bit wider than msot people on the road. Is it a stability/handling thing?

  • Sandbags (actually foam blocks these days) are placed around the inside of the curves to prevent pursuit & kilo riders from taking a short cut.

  • In between qualifying and the finals, most team pursuit teams ride the Team Bunnyhop. It's mostly for honour these days but can sometimes win the team a meat platter so it's worth them entering.

  • You're not allowed on the Cote d'azure if racing. They'll stop you from going there! [ not allowed as significantly shorter than going round the black line ]
