Pretty meaningless metric, look at the whole team (GB or Aus) and you'll see pretty large variations in hand hold width, presumably each one optimised for the particular rider.

Yeah, I know. Wiggo seems to have gone from wide to narrow and back out again so even for one rider it's not consistent.

I've often wondered this, pursuit riders generally seem to have their arms quite a bit wider than msot people on the road. Is it a stability/handling thing?
