Weather is awesome as ever. Shame though, as I want more snow!
I actually do want just a headless linux server. I've no need for it to run OSX as I use my MBP for that.
Chameleon will brick Apple hardware so that's a no go.
Tomorrow my DVD's should turn up, and then I guess I'll just stick with a 32bit OS due to the cluster-fuck that is Apple.

You could also use Chameleon bootloader or similar to boot straight into 64 bit but then you'd basically be turning your mac into a hackintosh. Weird.
MacPostFactor does this too but they've temporarily pulled Yosemite support. Would do Mavericks now though.
If you do any of these things and break your mac don't blame me :)
It's more work than you should have to put in just because Apple decided to
make you upgrade to a new one for no real reasonswitch to 64 bit EFI.
