    Sorry for the delay. A 52cm is the correct size for you in that frame.
    You might be looking up information on a different type of bicycle
    frame to get the numbers you've found, without sounding a bit to
    geeky, there is sloping and non-sloping. Non-sloping is a traditional
    frame and the cross bar is horizontal with the ground and is general
    4cm smaller than modern frames. So yes, you are correct if you were
    getting a traditional geometry frame you would need a 58cm.
