  • Lower stack height is a good idea from a biomechanical point of view as you can apply force at the pedal axis without introducing an extra lever and therefore instability (imagine pedals with 10cm of spacers under the cleats).

    I'm not going to go into how I've got my CdA <0.200m^2 - all my rides are public on Strava though so you can see all of my aero testing files if you want.

    Back to Speedplays I've just totally wrecked a pair - right hand one has what appears to be no bearings inside now and the left hand one won't turn. Might try and get a set of the track Zeros, but I've been alright so far on the track (pursuit bike) with the regular ones. My sprint bike has Keos but I may switch.
