I get really cold fingers too...
...started putting Tesco bags over the STIs on my tourer to break the wind (as even Gore windstopper ones don't keep me warm) as the Pogies are only for MTB ones.
Looks fugly, but it helps. I should make a sort of Teacosy for it that is waterproof and that's me sorted.

@miro_o I can fit a thin silk liner but nothing thicker without my fingers going numb from lack of blood rather than the cold.
@andy_k I think that's probably the key - massive gloves to give my hands space to move/space for moar gloves.

@Hovis I am the same, I feel like there's nothing that will keep my hands warm enough when riding :(
