What the fuck Campagnolo is doing with disc brakes?

Think their R&D budget is too low

My hunch is some kind of collaboration with Formula.

Edco were manufacturing a 11 speed monoblock cassette in CrMo hardened material to use on 10 speed free wheels for about £150 ish. I can't find it on there site now though ..

Very much looking forward to full wireless shifting. Means it will be compatible with almost all frames, including older 90s/00s frames.

Biggest concern is the port in those batteries, if all the batteries have those micro USB port, then there's risk of water getting in from that and make the system go loopy (think of those rechargable light that often gone wonky when water is directed at it without mudguard, Moon Comet for example).
If however, those little black bit are removable battery and can be charged like a cochlear aid batteries, that would be a much better system.

Thinking of upgrading from my 6600 groupset to 6800. Currently running on a BB30 frame. I have the adaptors (using FSA EE085), but I think the 6800 crank doesn't look the best. Is there an alternative crank that matches well with 6800 shifting? Or should I just HTFU and live with the famed Shimano shifting that SiSL/Rotor/Praxis can't match?
(also might test Force out too, which will be pretty tasteful on a Cannondale frame...)

div question - how do i know if my chris king hub is a 10sp or an 11sp? i know i have to use this weird really thin spacer on it with my cassette that i never had to use with my old mavic wheels
-
• #3792
Spacer with 10s Cassette and the hub is most likely 11s compatible.
-
• #3793
interessante
-
• #3794
is there any way i can measure the freehub to know? without actually buying a cassette
-
• #3795
You'd know if the spacer is something like 2mm thick.
Unless you meant you don't have any 10 speed cassette.

and the cost.
-
• #3797
Not convinced by this. My Deore XT hubs won't fit 11 speed but need a spacer for 10. I was surprised.

Shimano 11 speed MTB cassette is different to 11 speed road cassette, the former can be mounted on 10 speed hubs.

You can pick up new ones on eBay every so often for slightly fairer prices.
But yea wallet denting
11sp cassette on a 10sp freehub.
