Survived, even managed a fastest 1k according to Strava (a paltry 4:44) it even felt "ok" on my running scale:-
hard, slow, ok-ish, ok, good-ish, good
(There's only been one "good" and nothing higher than that. ok = tolerable, anything less and I've been fighting the urge to give up at various points.)
Didn't notice any asymmetry so I guess my knee is ok for running, no extra pain during or since.
