Just started using ATACS last week, my first clipless experience, used pedals in good condition, new cleats, I unclipped as well. I read few threads and here is a list of tips I collected, can anyone add more/tell me if they aren't true:
swap the cleats
avoid unclipping with the foot that pulls the most in braking/skidding
avoid walking on rough surfaces as much as possible to don't ruin the soft cleats too fast
Is this all good? Is this it?
Also, there was a thread of someone producing/selling special CNCed cleats with a release angle of 17degrees or a similar bling he developed for himself due to the large amount of downhill he had to do. I can't manage to find it at the moment, can someone share me the link?
