I vote for a classic light pearlecent. An off-white or silver with a tinted laquer is great long after actual-white is scratched.

I was thinking about that, it'll retain the original decal, but on the top most part of the seat tube, it'll have a 853 diameter badge that said "modification done by Matt of Talbot Framework" or something along that line, will talk to matt about this and the graphic in the near future.
