  • Yeah, it's tight.

I took the stem bolt out, put a 1 pence in the gap, then wound the bolt back in against the coin, if that makes sense, which forced the clamp open very slightly?

I then used black touch up paint on the bars, as they got scratched no matter how careful I was.

  • Unscrew the front clamp screw, put a two pence coin in the gap, then screw back in onto the 2p. The screw will push on the coin and open the clamp good. Watch your leverage

  • ^^ lolz

  • Didn't see that. Great advice Dammit

  • Great minds think alike, clearly!

  • That method was actually in the instructions for my 3ttt status. Felt silly having not thought of it myself.

  • I definitely savaged a pair of bars before finding that method

  • @Dammit @kaiseroscar thanks guys will give this go, thought I must be doing something wrong.

  • Good luck!

  • Did you sell the belgiums?

  • @Dammit @kaiseroscar massive rep guys, finally got it on!

  • Hurray! And Joe - no, they are currently in use:

I'll let you know when I've got round to ordering the TB14's

  • really?

  • Green eyes.

Also, it has a gooch channel which the current Arione does not.

  • fucken sad that the serotta has been demoted to turbo bike...

  • I just bought it a new turbo to sit on.

  • whoosh parrot

  • Do tell more

  • New radiator?

  • 28.6-34.9 swaged 853, AKA Colorado Concept Tubing. These are seat tubes, happened upon a box of 5 NOS ones, which given that they are NLA I purchased.

Might do a (very!) limited number of frames with them, and probably keep at least two for repairing CSi's, Atlanta's etc.

  • What makes it so much better than commonly available seat tube tubing?
