Oi this is a London forum all you hereford and worcester lot can go back there.
Some of my best tools are wolf, and I suspect older than me. Have a large 240v hammer drill, 110v circular saw, and fins that if you look after them they will last years. Occasional replacement brushes and proper bearings. Have had to replace switches that have worn out. They are all corded while everything is going cordless.

Or look at either bosch blue or makita.

I've had the Makita and now the Festool circular saw and they're both pretty good, maybe not twice the price good. Festool have a cracking theft replacement guarantee too, any warranted product replaced for a flat £100.

Big plans to start with the exterior decorating today but the weather is terrible.
I can rub the front door down because I've got a porch and I've taken the gate off to do it inside on the workmate but this really is inconvenient.
We're leaving end of Feb and I'm getting worried I'm going to run out of weekends to finish this project.
Oh look - Saturday Kitchen is on.

Speaking of chainsaws, I borrowed my dads recently to remove a small tree from our garden, most fun with a power tool ever. Kill all the trees.

Are you designing your garden with an Isengard theme?

Anyone good with boilers, or know someone who is? Leak I haz it, and I'm not going to start dicking around with it. Professional help required.
-
• #3692
Sacredhart recommended a guy to me who serviced our boiler and was super honest. Nice bloke. Dunno whether he does full repairs but if I had an issue it would be him I'd call. I'll pm you his number.

Two out of six were nice and clean. Guess which ones I free handed?

Cheers but the ceiling is so pissed it looks level
It doesn't wobble as I've secured it to the wall and hired a small child to live under it.
-
• #3698
Yes he does repairs too. Anything outside of that he would refer back to me.

Starfish your post really made me laugh back in the day I was a builder and used to advertise in Time Out I had to give up because people kept calling and asking for work to be done in their bedroom (men and women).

Has anyone had experience with removing a load-bearing wall? We're considering it, but have no idea of the costs involved. Any recommendations of structural engineers would be great.
Just don't bother with DeWalt anymore, they are just a more expensive, yellow version of Black & Decker nowadays.
Now if you really want to splash the cash then Milwaukee are the boss.
