  • So another of the current projects is under way. Seem to have tied myself up in too much this winter.

I finally found a "decent" mans size of Bridgestone/anchor PHM9 . Really has been lightly used since new and managed to get it for a real bargain. :)

So time to get this build started. Really not got an idea of the parts for this one yet, but so far i am thinking of keeping it with as much black parts as possible to offset well against the red.
So far the only certain is the Sugino 75 DD cranks with my Shimano 53t Zen ring.

Wheels i am thinking of using either my campagnolo pista wheelset or (crazy idea) bang on my mad fibre front with a disk rear wheel?

Seatpost i feel i have to go with a carbon aero one to try to avoid that weird look with Aero seat tube to normal post.

    The build commences

  • So the Crank arrived and transfered the black Sugino 50t Zen ring to another bike and fitted up the Shimano Zen

Love the crank, and always prefered external BB`s.
Only problem was one rounded off chainring bolt (from factory?) hmmm, but soon got that out.

  • Lovely!

From the rear especially, it looks like it was built to survive the Apocalypse...

  • SickĀ³

  • Swerve the aero seatpost, they always look shite.

Other than that - get on it. Best frames ever.

  • Dream bike! Would love to see DA on this, but that my opinion. Looking forward in seeing this fully built!

  • Lovely frame. Look sick built up. I would have agreed with you aero seatpost wise but thats my opinoin.

  • Thanks for the feedback guys.. yeah might try on a normal seatpost then and see how it sits when at the right height.

Will get some more parts at the weekend. How about handlebars? Any suggestions for it?

  • What the fuck

  • Please tell me this is for track?

  • Bars wise Easton EC90 track drops would be my choice , pair with a pro vibe track stem for a combo that's hard to beat ( Assuming it's 1 1/8 ) .

BTW it was really nice to meet you the other day man .

  • First dibs for when you sell

  • Nitto stem and risers.

    Fuck the track.

You want to be emulating this one as closely as you can, but with risers.

  • Too small for you anyways ;)

  • Yeah was good seeing you. Hope you like the Nag. Definately have to grab a drink next time.

It's a 1" fork so will need to go with a quill or (as much as I hate them) adapter.

  • Nitto Pearl and you're good. Great project.

  • Yeah, fuck an adaptor off

  • Preach

  • Been a bit busy with work these days but managed to get the old Sugino BB out and fit up the new external BB and fit up the cranks.

  • So this is as it stands at the moment. Sitting on the (maybe) temp Campag pista wheels, although may go with carbon?? Not sure yet.
Waiting now for the seat and post to arrive.
