Classic Joss Whedon last line...

Thought '71 was really excellent. Set in Belfast in, er, 1971. Content might be contentious for some, but it doesn't take political sides. It's incredibly tense, Jack O'Connell is bloody brilliant, and the David Holmes soundtrack music colours it perfectly.

Ant-Man? I was thinking of something more classical...perhaps along the lines of "FORMI-CUNT!!!"

We watched American Sniper last night, an enjoyable movie romp but left me feeling a bit sick by the end... Could've been a much more interesting film but just washed over me as dull, jingoistic gong-bait...

@miro_o recommended me to watch Patema Inverted, very glad I did, was a bit of a mind fuck, but great film.
What's really neat is how the camera angle give us an idea of how it would felt if the world really is upside down, looking down at the sky felt worst than looking down at Earth.

I really like The Guest, especially the soundtrack. Last 10 mins were a bit dire, but didn't manage to ruin it for me.

Glad you liked it.
You're right. I think it's the framing and timing/pacing is really special.
Some of the drawing is a bit rough (but I forget about that after a few mins).

Screener season is excellent. Did '71 last night - brilliant. Nightcrawler & Foxcatcher for the next couple of days.
Kids loved Big Hero 6.

Some of the drawing is a bit rough (but I forget about that after a few mins).
The animation are really bland and simple, almost like a tv show rather, but still hugely enjoyable, especially after learning the what and why in the end (my girlfriend woke up in the middle of the night, turn on the light and proceed to tell me she finally got it, and then have nightmare about gravity).
Never met a person who got scared of a film 2 hours after it's finished.

wonder if they're going to include this scene:
