I've ridden both.
The weight saving (the only real difference other than Ultegra's nicer finish) seems to be made on the hollow chainring (which is perhaps more durable too) and the cassette.
I'd say look at the prices of those consumables and decide which you'll be buying in a few months... and you'll know which groupset to go for.
