pretty sure I want to sell my Fuji x100, it's a great camera but it just doesn't get any use by me. Anyone wants?

Canon 60D with 70-200 2.8 i know they're not the heaviest but i felt limited carrying it around and very self conscious around town/people. I think the Xpro would be miles better for street stuff and i'd feel more comfortable with it and on the bike

Thanks for the reply
Read a lot about the AF and i think i'd be fine with what i shoot these days, plus Dat styling! lovely things.
60d needs L glass imho to get the most from the sensor and i've not got the dough for n Army of L lenses, i was thinking Fuji 18-50 ,35 1.4 and the 55-230 for longer stuff
Nice pics too man ;) -

As you were! Haha

You're right on the focus with the Fuji. I was thinking of converting, but it wasn't even close to my old D700. Plus the UI is a bit odd. Nikon still wins for ergonomics too, the X-T1 looks nice, but it sure is uncomfortable holding it after a while.

That's the only thing making me stick with canon gear for jobs, too. Ergonomics, speed etc.

60d needs L glass
First time I hear this, and my experience is a totally different one.
For MF there's myriads of cheap lenses, I personally love my old 55mm takumar (£50 used),
for autofocus there's awesome lenses for great prices like the 40/2.8 STM (£125 new), the 85/1.8 USM (£250 new), and pretty much all the new STM zoom lenses are dirt cheap and deliver great quality. -

But the "real" one is so cheap anyway... It looks fine anyway, always a handy thing to have at hand.

60d needs L glass imho
IMHO ;) -

One article I saw showed the yongnuo as more sharp than the canon, and pretty sure has 7 aperture blades as opposed to 5.
As well as being cheaper? I'm sold

IMHO
..seriously though, I'd genuinely be interested to hear your findings.
Of course L glass is great, but I can't follow the logic that the sensor "needs" L glass.
It apparently is true for top-notch full frame bodies like Nikon D800 that shows lenses' flaws with brutal honesty, but the 60D is a 4+ year old APS-C camera that is still very forgiving.. -

I think it's just me and my pixel peeping , i do a lot of detailed cityscape stuff and enlarge/print big
Having owned 2 60d's and a 7d i've not been happy with the IQ , having said that there is no lens calibration adjustment on the 60d maybe mine weren't perfectly set up?
A lot of older MF lenses are razor sharp though i'll give you that -

Technically, the 18mp canon sensor is more demanding than the D800's, which is just a big 16mp aps-c. Higher densisty pixels = more motion blur/propensity to show flaws etc.
Also, the Canon 18mp sensors weren't all alike; the 7D had a very strong AA filter which they eased-off with the 60D and the xxxD models that use it.
The current 20mp sensor in the 7D mk ii would make a 52mp full frame if they were to cut the wafers at that size.Anyway, I stopped counting when they reached 10mp. The 20mp I'm using now seems almost obsurd.

I suppose when you went through three bodies, not being happy with the results, you will have tried other people's lenses for comparison to see whether it's your lenses that are a bit 'off'?
@well_is_it I'm sorry I did not have enough coffee yet to enter the theoretical pixel peeping debate, and even if I had I'd say it's tiresome and too far from real life shooting to bother.
In a nutshell - I used to read so much stuff about cameras, learning about their strenghts and weaknesses - and in the last year I've actually looked closely at a lot of photos and what they've been shot with - and it's been pretty revealing what some people archieve with very basic equipment.

I hear you. Downside of my D750? Now I have to buy a new laptop as my MacBook Air is having trouble keeping up.

I bit the bullet and got the X100T!
I need to learn how to properly use the fill flash and ND filter, because well-it-is's shot looks LOVELY, amazing that its an inbuilt flash. It seems to perform very well with exposure compensation as well, I was worried about underexposing a few shots, but it seems to not have too much trouble with noise when you shoot at a lower ISO/ higher shutter and push it. The dynamic range is also really nice, although my flatmate doesn't look too impressed...
and the macro is nice too
I now just need to find time to get out and shoot more!

Also it was a lot of fun being able to get these straight from the camera via the wireless app.
These are both from raw using the built in raw converter on the camera, which you can use to push/pull your shots, as well as loads of other corrections, and then transfer the jpg over wifi.
My only stumbling block now, which I hadn't realised would be a problem at all is that adobe lightroom 4 doesn't support X100T raw files, without mucking about with them first, which is a real shame.
It would be great if anyone knows of an update/ workaround that fixes this without going to lightroom 5 or using a third party bit of software first

450D / Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4
They're great but if I were you I'd be tempted to wait for the second generation at this stage, if you are at all bothered about the AF speed. If you come at it expecting an experience like a rangefinder that also has autofocus then you won't be disappointed, but if you come at it wanting a mini DSLR then you might it wanting
(Yes, I have too many cameras).
