Self editing a bunch of posts?

To clarify, if I've spotted a spam or something, I should reply to this and put @Velocio/@hippy to it?

I can't do as much moderation here.. probably delete the posts but VB will have to do the fun stuff so I've just been leaving them.

I know this all happened nearly a month ago. but I thought I'd put my two-penneth in in regard to the whole, mysogynist posting, banning and moderator whatnot in the ladies forum.

1. no-one actually reported anything to myself or poots (the other mod at the time) - I actually found out about this whole affair from talking to someone at a party on Friday..
   
2. @bothwell is right in that, the existing mods don't spend lots of time on the forum because by an large it polices itself. I see some things and I act on them, but I can't act on things I dont see.
   
3. I kinda wish someone would have just PM'd me - which is what I believe I posted on the 'guidelines' post when we first started this forum.
   
4. I'm more than happy for there to be other mods - (like really happy), - but I think its for the members of that forum to decide who they are not @edscoble and for the existing mods to at least be consulted/informed at the time.
   
5. I just feel a little blindsided by this whole thing.

Did you not read it? It been closed after finding the HHSB.

Bumping this as closing the old thread is silly and confusing, and the new one already full of reposts, and contains no info on what hhsb is.
