I'd bet on early 80s Dia Compe. Warning; they don't stop you, but neither do the Shimanos!

I think it's actually BR-7300 "Dura Ace AX", the cable clamp is the most obvious difference from BR-6300 "600AX"

Yeah they are the Dura Ace AX... a bit of a faff to setup but they are actually pretty good - much much better than Campag Monoplanars, Deltas, D500's and Modolo Speedy's I've got on other 80s bikes... (who needs to stop on a TT bike anyway?)

They work great until a bit of dirt get's in there.

I must be lucky - I've never had a problem with them or the 600ax version...

here are my two lo pros. an australian built beasley and a gitane pursuit.

Cmon u gotta at least lower the stem for the photo of the second one. And how's the shimazaki coming along.

fair enough, its pretty comfy though! shimazaki has ground to a halt with christmas. the wheels are being built so it should be finished early january hopefully. should be pretty nice hopefully.

Does the Suire not have cable guides/routing?

My fleet:

Batavus Professional, used by the national team (Netherlands)
Lot of nice details: monostay, panto, chain guide instead of front-mech, etc.
Very weird combination of parts: Gipiemme, C-record, simplex, CLB..., but all original.
Brake cable needs trimming, I know.

Duell Pursuit, used by Bart Veldkamp (Speedskating) came 2nd in national championships time trial.

Bianchi Krono, not much information on this one. build thread in CP.
