I'm more confused by the fact that he's bought bikes that he might have to clean, should he take them off road at this time of year.

It's highly unlikely they will go off-road -it's fucking hours away to the Chilterns and I'm not driving to ride and I'm pretty sure there's no sick single track in west London..
