  • Pro-tip; take your gloves off to operate the padlock, put your bike away, then stick them in your pockets after you've locked. The walk from the bike sheds to recpetion is just long enough to get a bit of blood flowing again = no more prickly heat! Works for me anyway, and my hands go numb every morning.

  • I'll remember that for when I've got some. I had to wait for someone (Dave) to let me in to the sheds today as I couldn't get the lock open aha

    @hudsoncjnr I think I'll go for the all-weather ones (I think they were the ones) they have in there. I want something a bit thinner/tighter, can't stand cumbersome gloves!

    Elkas are lovely, the only issue with them, as with most 100% waterproof jackets, is that water runs right off them and on to whatever else you're wearing, I learned this the hard way when I wore mine with some khaki chinos
