  • I've also not made my mind up about cables yet. Do iLinks really represent a vast improvement on decent compressionless like Yokozuna?

  • Can't tell you about yokozuna but can give you my thoughts on iLinks, what ed said about tight radius' is very true, helps the rear mech cable especially on sram. I do like the fact that you can have a compresionless, fully sealed system too, and after an initial investment, re-doing you cables becomes very cheap, it'd make a lot of sense on a CX bike. But it doesn't feel quite like a finished product, for example the cable ends could be done a lot better, also there is an initial "bedding in period", where you have to adjust your cable adjusters, much more so than you do with normal cables. I know you use sram too so you know the front derailleur needs a cable adjuster, and if you have to use an inline one, it becomes an utter pita with the links. I'd happily pay more if they could make an inline adjuster that works with the links and sort out the entry points to mechs, brakes etc.

I'd happily pay even more than that if yokozuna could make their liner replacable
