I'd look at Manitou, DT Swiss or maybe a Suntour Axon over something Rockshox personally

I'm just not a Rockshox fan, I've always found them disappointingly mediocre. The Manitou Tower, Suntour Axon Werx and the couple of DT Swiss forks I've tried were all excellent XC forks.
