They can, but then the government steals 20%. US prices are always advertised without sales tax, which varies by state, EU prices are always advertised with VAT.

I'm bidding on an ebay one now. I'm thinking apart from anything, having a slower bike for a while is probably a good idea while I'm on anti-coag - I've already done the 'fill your brain up with fluid emergency ambulance drive of joy'.

42/32 as a bottom gear on a >40lb fatty? There will be walking.
No idea tbh (forriner here) but I'd expect import and shipping to be pretty steep.
Still pretty cheap though.
