Sponsors dropping out has been, and remains so

Its not just astana. Could see sponsors pull out of plenty of teams. A little while back I remember reading German TV was thinking of restarting coverage of cycling. That could be under threat now. And obviously less TV coverage = less interest from sponsors for pro cycling as a whole.

And whether their sponsors will stick with them. Astana is now a toxic brand

Astana is a vanity project of the Kazakh kleptocracy, they don't need other sponsors.
