Don't do it man! I'd love one, but I'm yet to drive or see one that doesn't need an annoyingly long list of small jobs doing.
I very nearly bought a "mint" example of a CX GTi Turbo once. Quite glad I didn't. Bought a cheap 505 instead.

@Woodster Nice, looks reasonably straight. Was it rust underneath or leaky hydraulics that was the issue? There's a guy near regents canal that has a lovely olive green/brown CX. I see him driving it all the time. I think you really need a lot of time and money to keep one in good daily driving condition.
I have a secret plan for when I'm wealthy and slightly more nuts to get a nice DS/SM/CX and put in an all electric drivetrain. Would suit it well.

Personally think the Ferrari 458 is bland as fuck, common in cars but a crime for an Italian supercar, but I absolutely despise the repetition of badges on the front, the silver prancing hoss in the middle of the lower bumper is superfluous and ugly, what were they thinking? I know they've done it before but it worked on the 550/575.

Mainly electrical and homebrew LPG kit issues, the hydraulics were pretty well behaved. It did develop a rather large hole in the passenger side floor though and was pretty rough around the edges. The worst thing was sourcing parts, which would either cost the earth or take forever to find.
Glad I tried it though. I'd love an SM before prices go mad, but to replace that motor with electricity would be sacrilege.

That old maserati clanger? Nah, ditch it. ;) Jokes - to clarify, when I say source "a good one" I mean body work and chassis. Mechanicals I can deal with, paint and panels is more time consuming and expensive.
Parts are a pain though. When I had my 505 I spent many an hour chasing parts on an aussie frog forum...

Issues might be finding parts the SM has a few unique parts.
Citroen hydraulics are brilliant if you know what you are doing. Had a 1.9 td for a bit after a fleet of 1.9d as they were cheap to find with knackered hydraulics.
Always fancied the gti 4x4 with either the 16v engine or the later 2.0 turbo xud engine used in the rovers.
