Mainly electrical and homebrew LPG kit issues, the hydraulics were pretty well behaved. It did develop a rather large hole in the passenger side floor though and was pretty rough around the edges. The worst thing was sourcing parts, which would either cost the earth or take forever to find.
Glad I tried it though. I'd love an SM before prices go mad, but to replace that motor with electricity would be sacrilege.
@Woodster Nice, looks reasonably straight. Was it rust underneath or leaky hydraulics that was the issue? There's a guy near regents canal that has a lovely olive green/brown CX. I see him driving it all the time. I think you really need a lot of time and money to keep one in good daily driving condition.
I have a secret plan for when I'm wealthy and slightly more nuts to get a nice DS/SM/CX and put in an all electric drivetrain. Would suit it well.
