  • Yea, I was pretty impressed as well.

In other news: CineStill 50 is available now!
Just picked up a roll. It looks wicked. Now impatiently waiting for some proper light to not waste this in the morbid greyness that Berlin has been in the last two weeks..

  • I bought 6 rolls of the stuff! Looking forward to shooting it in my Hexar in Rio....

  • Sent my first roll (Tx400) off for developing/scanning! I went back to metro imaging as I'd like to have a baseline for what well processed film should look like, and I have a few on there hopefully I'll be able to enter a medical photography competition with. Doesn't half cost though >.<

If by weds eve I haven't uploaded anything, then you know why haha...

Also, apparently metro scan at 72DPI yet this competitions T&Cs demand 300DPI. Not really knowing what this means had a quick google and THIS website seems to show that the DPI rabbit hole runs deeper than I thought. Some reading may be in order.

  • Drugstore (maybe Agfa Vista) 400 - Pentax ESPIO mini

  • Looks like that film should only be used for pure evil photographs

  • DPI means NOTHING.
    Nothing
    .
    1000px wide is 1000px wide @72dpi and 3200dpi.
    BRO.

  • 18 rolls, wtf!
    How long are you staying?
Is this all for shits & giggles, or do you have a job there in Rio ?

  • Ha, i'll prob need more... just off on a big holiday... a little under 6 months... need a break from London and Euro winter.

  • Very nice.
Have fun shooting, and bring back the beautiful colourz with you !!
Can the Hexar use POL filters?

  • Drugstore (maybe Agfa Vista) 400 - Pentax ESPIO mini

  • not had a look here for a while, loving all the new stuff!

shot a fair few rolls of Ektar 100, CN Neopan 400 and Gold.

the cameras have had a hard life the past few months, along with my noob skills so any imperfections will have to be excused!

*my bad on using the reply button

  • ..proper good shots, thanks for sharing!

  • Drugstore (maybe Agfa Vista) 400 - Pentax ESPIO mini

  • Nice photos, i like your composition. I have a the slightly lower model of scanner andI compared them with some that I had had professionally scanned and i had a similar situation, but editing after corrected that.

  • plane one is awesome

  • just off on a big holiday... a little under 6 months... need a break from London and Euro winter.

Make sure you bring back some pictures of the zombies.

    #strangekindofholiday. :)

  • @Gone, Constantly reminding everyone that they live boring lives in comparison!

    Great shots, as always.

  • Nice stuff!

  • ^^ My thoughts exactly. Need. to. get. off. this. PC.

  • What's the difference between the mju:zoom and the mju II? I have the former and would like the latter, just wondered if it's a significant upgrade.

  • Mju ii has a sharper and faster 35mm prime lens and I think it's slightly slimmer.

  • Someone sell me one for less than the £50 they go for on eBay

  • Ha, have had to resist buying gear with that mindset... turning up in Rio looking like a mercenary is prob not the best of ideas.

@Gone that is one hell of a batch of photos...
