I either had a heart attack or I've broken another heart rate monitor. I ran to work this morning and noticed at the end of the run that my heart rate was 214, while standing about queuing in the shop near my office. I tried to take my pulse but couldn't feel my heart beat, which then made me panic and wonder if I was actually already dead, resulting in me buying all the wrong things from the shop so I could get back to the office and get someone else to measure my pulse, or perform CPR or something.
Had a look at the run on strava and the last few hundred metres have my heart rate at 225, which seems unlikely. Phew. I'm not dead. I feel like I've been given a lease of life.
