The biggest issue with the GT shoes from what I can see is they're using last year's Easton sole, which includes a limited amount of heel, after a month it will wear right through to the carbon fibre and eventually to the rear leather and sole. Plus you cannot replace the rear heel unlike the new Easton sole.

Men's Classic jersey with arm warmers is in the Black Friday sale but not the women's... annoying

In a hastily deleted tweet Rapha said 30% off some products and 15% off everything in store...is this the case?

What’s the consensus on the unpadded merino boxers? I’m enjoying the short sleeve baselayer so much I'm considering taking the party downstairs. Any info on sizing would also be appreciated, as at well over 6’ I’d never have considered buying size S baselayers before asking here.

Go slightly small, would be my advice. They're pretty stretchy, and while extremely comfortable don't have the most support of all the boxers in the world, so a bit of extra tension is helpful in keeping ones bits and pieces securely located.

I would advise to go true to size.

Depends on your measurements bud...
I am 5 foot 7 I wear rapha size 32 waist x 30 (short) jeans. Thigh measures 22inch at widest point. By rapha's size guide i should be size Medium in the boxers but I went with Small.
I can tell u that although the fit well, i am on the edge... You wouldn't want to size down in the boxers and have the lower portion of the leg opening ride up and basically turn it into a pair of speedos

I have a few pairs and they're comfortable and last well. My Icebreaker merino boxers only lasted a few wears before wearing through but the Rapha ones are all going strong after about a year. (They're on rotation probably get worn/washed once per week.)
I also bought mine true to size.

The girlfriend wanted some Rapha jeans for Christmas and they're one of the items in the Black Friday sale. Just ordered and saved myself £45.00. OH YEAH! #cheapskate

Is it possible to exchange stuff bought online in the shop? Just need to change sizes
-
• #18540
That question has been asked and answered before .
-
• #18541
Overheard someone asking in the shop yesterday and the answer was yes if it's just to change sizes but no if you want to exchange for a different thing.

Cool, will give it a go. Thanks for the helpful answer.

What's the rain cape weigh?
For a 'light weight' jacket you think they'd post the weight. -

Cooked riding in my transfer jacket Saturday but was perfect for standing round at miltonkeynes watching the cx.
I'm guessing it's low single digit temps/freezing wear?

Which code is that...?

Transfer jacket wasn't designed for riding..

Transfer jacket is for going to and leaving the place of riding bikes, or for wearing on the walk to dinner when credit card touring, or for wearing in random pubs hoping that people will look at it covetously. It's really warm and really comfortable and really pretentious and largely useless for riding a bike. But I do rate it for the credit card touring thing.
Not sure if anyone else has tried to GT shoes on before, but I found for some reason the strap closest to my toes, it wasn't long enough to get a decent grip on the Velcro, maybe about a 1/4 inch of the strap was able to stick to the velcro. It looked super funny when I had them on
