Road bike recommendations

the bowman palace is ticking alot of boxes, pretty similar to a kinesis aithein but takes a 27.2 seatpost which i'd prefer to a 31.6

This is along similar lines. Internal cabling and pressfit bb though. Comes with a quality seatpost.

The 2015 version is lighter again.

I think you should be able to .. at least on narrow rims. I have a series 5 madone and there is loads of room to even run a 32c tyre

The PDW are very thin - thinner than the Curana C-Lite I had before, when I swapped I gained a useful amount of guard-to-tyre clearance.

I really rate the PDW's, for what that's worth.

Bontrager stock wheels are actually really good. IMO.

I bought frameset only; I use narrow rims with 25c tyres atm with loads of room. Will go wide at some point when these die.

Will have to double check our Madone at work, the brake clearance can probably go up to 28mm, but it's more the clearance on the seat tube, and chainstay that's the main culprit.

I strongly doubt 32mm will fit, mainly because it's pretty fucking big!

Even Domane have a pretty tight clearance too.

Currently saving for a crabon roadie and this is very tempting....

Worth it at that price? I'd probably want to stick a 52/36 chainset on there. Had originally planned to go 11 speed straight off but at that price I might be persuaded to stick on 10.

Perhaps a racier geo than I'd really want too, but maybe yoga will solve that.

Better bikes for money IMO.

Yeah BB30 is a major negative, actually. Had a go on something with one of those and it was all "click click click" out of the saddle...

Bb30 is fine.

Shitty bottom brackets are not.

My New frame has BB30, and I have a HT2 standard crankset. I've bought a KCNC BB for it. So my question is Grease, anti-seize, or spoke-prep (acts like a very mild threadlock)?

The cups and Shell are alu. So I was just going to wack some anti seize on when installing. Hopetech use grease, and it seem most dale owners use threadlock.

Dunno.
Theres a Clip online of one being installed With what looks like anti-seize. I assume its somewhat dependant on BB Shell material.
Anti-sieze just made the most sense to me.

Interesting...I might give that adapter a go on my Caad10 so I can get replace that FSA chainset

@Smallfurry I'd use light grease / drop of oil. If it causes any problems then mild threadlock. it's a press fit, no?, so anti seize may disrupt the fit and increase the chances of pinging and poppin'
