  • ^up there somewhere. I saw Hardware when it came out, seemed awesome at the time, I'd be interested to see how it stood the test of time. I probably have a CD of the soundtrack somewhere at my parents house.
I seem to remember they got into a bit of trouble over the script, because the plot was a blatantly ripped off short story from 2000AD. Still, it had Lemmy in it as a cab driver, and the bloke from Fields of the Nephilim doing his mad eyes thing.
I've recently seen the Turing film, which was better than I was expecting. I got the feeling that the plot had been simplified for us mere mortals. I'd love to know more about what life at Bletchley Park was really like. We had an old teacher at my school who'd been there during the war. He never talked about it, and we only found out when he died and the headmaster made a speech about him.
I've just tried watching Lone Survivor. I got to the bit where they all roll down the big cliff and then turned it off for being stupid. I think I can guess the rest.
Jesus, I've just written a fucking chapter. I guess it's because I haven't left the house all weekend and i'm a bit stir crazy.
