  • The colour tones in the first one are top notch; the shadows on the fence are surprisingly pleasing too!

  • 60D - 40mm STM

  • Love the radioactive colours in that. Also, the aspect ratio works really well.

I've expunged the other images from time and space. Hopefully this brings some redemption...

  • Sorry @well_is_it - just had to try what it'd look like, hope you don't mind ..

  • Well is it: I have to admit I never quite understand your pictures, if they are there to be 'understood', and from what I have seen they have more of an effect in groups rather than singly but I did quite like the ones you've deleted. They looked more like photo-realist paintings than photos, there was something uncanny about them.

  • I never quite understand your pictures

I think it's about fences a lot of times!

    :-P

  • Pretty much just about fences.

Also, tina.kino the crop looks nice...

Finally safe to post this one too...

  • There's no need to use the @ reply function, it's not as if I am not going to read the thread. Stupidest invention ever.

  • Just a personal dislike of mine on the new forum. Along with, oh well, let's not get started on that.

  • Also thanks, I'm slowly going back to squares; square is the new panorama, dude!

And fluoro is still hip, as least in Berlin (yes a lot of people wear it as well).

  • Seriously though, about that portrait -
well nice, like the colours a lot, floor, sofa, wall, very nice, and the guy as well.
But should really have put his right arm /hand somewhere else maybe..

  • Oh my god! I only just saw what you did there!

  • That is great, in fact I genuinely thought it was a modern painting.

  • This hahah, thought tina just particularly liked it!

  • Commute earlier this week, was in agony due to freezing temperatures and lack of decent gloves at the moment. Nice sunrise though!

  • That second one makes me a little nervous, but in a good way.

  • second one is amazing- gives me chills

  • Second one is great. Looks utterly freezing.

  • Some observations from my trip earlier this year to northern Germany: Land of the strange grey light.

  • Nice set @spotter ! Would have liked to see a few more from the road, gives a nice sense of the journey.

  • Wow.. best post(s) this thread has seen in a while, well done!

Especially like the 'patchy' road, and the two below that, and from the second post the lone guy in the sea, and the last one!

    Thumbs up!

  • I had to photoshop Kimberly from Girls Aloud bum bigger once for a print campaign.... does that count?
