  • Hefty, go forth and find me a nice Porsche. I would like a long-nose, for ~£10,000 please.

  • I would like a long-nose, for ~£10,000 please.

I'd have thought £10k would cover it :

I fear the £10k for a decent 911 boat sailed some time ago. :(

  • Haha no chance! For close to mint or mint your talking 6-10k generally but of course some people get lucky, that's why I bought one now, I'd grudge paying 8k for one in a few years. Slowly going to way of the Mk1 and 2 Ford Escort.

  • Its got the 230bhp engine and an amazing 4wd system that can mean the car can have either 100% power to the front or the rear.

Keep looking at 155 Q4 as you get the lancia delta integrale under pinnings for less money and less show.

  • Genuine wow. But then decent ones are getting rare as the have been ragged by the most part.

Wonder what the GTD is worth....

  • Beaut...head lamps could be a bit bigger...;oB

  • like the caterham levante

  • 1500cc and 180bhp with twin superchargers and quad carbs. Fantastic!

  • yup

  • I'd stop masturbating over it. It'll ruin the paintwork.

  • I thought the pterodactyl's were extinct?

  • Obvs trying to mask his ride from the feds much like the opening credits to 'Cannonball Run'...

*In anticipation of being hosed down by some burly truckers.

  • Audi A4 (B6) 1.8T 190 Sport, any owners past or present?

  • Rented a BMW 120d coupe (M Sport) recently, I know they're marmite but I absolutely love the look of them and it was a great drive, never driven RWD before and the steering was snappy but assured at speed. Don't really dig on diesels but it always had power to spare.

  • I didn't mention it for fear of being excommunicated but the 1-series I drove was an auto and I did enjoy it, allowed me to concentrate solely on avoiding parked cars and bikes and I can see how it'd be a blessing for daily city drivers. My left hand still held on to the auto stick though, some habits are 4 LYFE I guess

  • BMW diesels are great. I rented a 330d a couple of years back - very civilised car.

I prefer auto for 95% of my driving too....

  • Like diesel torque

  • Me got A4 Avant B8 2.0TDI.

Manuel too, which is great for the open road.

    Not Surrey where it resides.

Just spunked a load of cash sorting DPF out.

Needs a thrashing once in a while.

    Not enough Autobahns round here.

    :o$

  • Has anyone here even heard of JDM..?

  • Japanese Domestic Market innit bruv? Like NJS for Barry boys.

  • I've driven these cars extensively, both petrol and diesel as well as auto's and manuals. I like the fact that they're RWD and the steering is both snappy and responsive, but can't get over the fact that if you carry any more than two people then rear passengers need to be PORG's.

I solved the issue by buying a Golf. Bigger load access and rear legroom and even though it's FWD, VW appear to have defied physics with the diff in the new GTI.

  • enter code hereI like them too. I am going to try and get an ex-rep 135

  • Thinking about a BMW 5 series to replace the Legacy at some point...

Probably an F11 530d or 535d although they only seem to have open diffs... might have to wait and try and find an Alpina D5 touring instead....

  • Mine FWD btw.

    (A 2WD Audi!? Blasphemy)
