I've just ordered one of these. Should be here on Monday.
Means that I have to wait another week or so to ride it.I have one of these but I'm finding that the seatpost slips (possibly because it's not clamping enough) - has anyone had a similar issue? I don't want to overtorque.

No problems with mine*.

should be in the middle where the gap in the clamp/frame is.
This. Then it will have FA to do with whether your seatpost slips or not. Wife's Space Horse has one, mounted in the gap. It's fine.

I had mine attached to the brake bridge. solid. no brake judder or nuttin

Mine is in the middle where the game is.
So the seatpost is slipping for another reason, should I look at shimming?
I've got carbon paste on it but what more can I do?!?
-
• #88
copper slip

Are you using a Thomson? I'd second sumo's suggestion. Clean the carbon paste off, then use some copper slip or anti-seize, but wipe it down so there's just a fine coating left, not too much.
If you're using a carbon post, don't put anything on it at all, no grease.

Ok I'll get some of that tomorrow and give it a go.

Doubt I'm covered by insurance.
There is a whole host of cameras in and around my apartment.
Reported to the police and it has a UV tag thing
And as you say pretty unique but could be painted over I guess.Bastards
