Whats the best (and buy-able in the UK) waterproof sleeve for Nexus 5 to fit in jersey pocket? Ideally I'd like this but cant find anywhere to buy in the UK: http://www.cascadedesigns.com/e-case/eseries/eseries-9-with-jack/product

Just had lollipop pushed to my nexus 7, not sure on the keyboard colouring but the Easter egg thing in settings is an infuriating flappy bit clone.

Fixed keyboard, all is well.

Just had the Lollipop push for mt Nexus 7 2012.

Liking Lollipop on the whole, much preferred the old black theme tho'... Hope I'll be able to change that at some point, feels too bright atm...
Feels a bit nippier too...

The keyboard is noticabbly nicer to use.
One thing I can't find that I was looking forward to is the option to shoot RAW with the camera.

Mine feels slower and I'm getting the of graphical glitch, mainly when the keyboard pops up.
-
• #15462
What kind of glitches are you seeing? I've heard it tends to be a bit rough around the edges for the first few hours as it's still optimising in the background. Could well be bullshit.

Been over 48 hours now, I know the different way of running apps means it'll likely be slower the first time and then speed up. The keyboard pop up animation is replaced by that weird camouflage they used to paint on battleships about 30% of the time, a few little other bits that seem wrong but quickly fix themselves. It's probably the massive amount of shit animal hospital type apps on
mymy daughter's profile. -

I've found some apps (Tapped Out and Family Guy especially) start off at a crawl and then speed up after a while. :(

Try wiping the cache in recovery mode.

They're probably hiding that as mobile camera software is moving towards constant sampling to produce an image rather than a single instant from the CCD. i.e. the idea of RAW doesn't hold up when you actually have a stream of data that composes a JPG.
It's the only way to make the sub-optimal (small) optics start to deliver results comparable to larger sensor and larger optic devices.

Really loving lollipop, I'm even getting used to the new keyboard...
My N5 has definitely sped up a bit, battery life seems to have improved too... Good stuff...

My phone is completely fucked. I haven't had a single bar of signal in over a month now, and while I'm personally quite enjoying being unreachable both my GF and my boss are starting to prickle a little bit.
My first thought would be to go for the Nexus 5, however I'd probably prefer the 32Gb one which is out of stock. What else is out there in the £300-£350ish price bracket? I don't think I want anything larger, and a decent camera would be nice. I don't know much about 4g but I suppose it's the future and so would be good but I guess not necessarily essential. Oh yes, and decent battery too.

^ ditto. just been looking about and thought N5, but can't find 32gb. I'm HTC4lyf so am prob going down the one mini 2 route as I don't want a phablet.
and all mobile providers are cunts.

Ugh. Not liking lollipop so far.
Is there any way to get tabs back in browser? I hate this new way of having tabs floating around amongst all the other open programs/windows...

It will be in the settings for the browser. Gave me the option when I first opened it.

You can change it back by turning off 'merge tabs and apps' in Chrome's settings...
Shifted to Lollipop on my N4 with the above guide. It's alright so far but I don't use it enough for notification type stuff to notice the changes. Chrome tabs now appearing separately alongside every other app you're running is a ballache though.
