BMX - all the things

I got ma BMX! Man alive, the cheapest bike I've ever bought but the most fun - rode it home from Cycle PS trying to teach myself how to bunny hop on sat night and now basically want to ride it everywhere.

Really need to get it out of the house though - am concerned it'll be too heavy to go on the wall : /

ANYHOO - will be going to Peckham this Friday (the 21st) from about 5pm-ish till 6pm-ish @zeez @Cazakstan @blowfish if any of you fanci it?

In other news: when I went past Peckham track this eve it looked there was grown up, but kinda beginners coaching going on. I will investigate further!

I'd love to come on Friday but I don't finish in central until 5. One day I'll get on the track..

Agree that weather is rubbish. I would probably have bailed later on too.

As I missed out on the Sept 28 session, I'm now signed up for the Nov 30 BMX training session.

If anyone's interested, the final floodlight series is being held this Saturday at Merton track.

Definitely a case of wrapping up, but it's a great track, should be some good racing occurring too.

If anyone, like me, hasn't ridden Lee Valley BMX track yet and wants to get accreditation for the March skills session then you'll need to do one of the 'BMX - adult taster sessions'. I'm booked on Jan 31st one and loads of places left, be great to have some company :)

I totally need more skills, definitely up for more coaching. Thought a bit about going to my local BMX track for their training session last Saturday, but it was all ages and abilities, so I just knew there would be some 8 year olds there to make me look particularly bad.

Am also up for a skillz session as I've not been back since the taster. Hopefully a scar-free event this time :-).

Well up for March skillz sessions at LV, especially as with the wonders of the overground I can actually bring my own bike for it!
