Another balanced and well argued piece: it tackles the usual efficacy argument head-on (#inb4Schick) and then demonstrates how it is a relatively minor consideration.

BUT YOUR BRAINS THO, common sense, once fell off and it saved my life etc etc etc, cont for ten billion gazillion pages and 'news' articles etc

Yeah, that too: it's like banging your head against a brick wall (with a helmet though, obvs).
