IS the 404 not a 20H at the rear?
I have rebuilt a 303 (which is a 24) using a Dura Ace hub, which is a fraction heavier but it's incredible quality, here

Tune often seem to have issues, or at least I have seen a couple of them with issues that could not be obviously resolved (creaking unrelated to bearings)... considering how much they cost, I would stay well clear of them, but this is only my experience, I am sure there are plenty of enthusiasts out there.
DT 240 is another obvious choice, that builds well with deep rims and is amazing quality

Any opinions on the best hubs to replace the POS zipp hub on my 404s? Must be black, 24 hole, and must be not significantly heavier than the hub it's replacing (188g). At the moment I'm thinking of using a Tune Mag 170.
