Tools needed - cone scanners, 11mm ratchet driver and dust cap tool (MKS ones fit campag too)

Remove dust cap, then use the 11mm ratchet driver to remove the locknut on the pedal spindle. Using the cone spanners remove the outer cone and washer then slide out the pedal spindle. Remove the bearings and then clean all parts with white spirits.

I found this cover ^ on the inside of the pedal impossible to remove without damaging it so I cleaned as best as possible.

Let it all dry out so there isn't any white spirit in there as it will break down the new grease.

Grease and pack new bearings into pedal

Slide the spindle in

Screw the cone on.

Put the cone washer on and wipe the threads on the spindle with a cloth to remove any grease.

Rub a tiny amount of this stuff (or similar anti seize paste) on the threads

Get the pedal feeling smooth spinning but not too loose where there is play and not tight where there is a noticeable clicking feel of the bearings. Then tighten the locking bolt using a cone spanner on the cone and the 11mm ratchet driver. Once happy with pedal clean the threads of grease on the inside of the pedal for the dust cap.

Put a tiny amount of the anti seize paste on the dustcap and screw it in.

Done.
