  • That was nicer, definitely seemed easier. A whole minute faster than the previous 6k run despite feeling roughly the same perceived effort (and slightly lower HRavg). Now looking forward to the rest of the week off (half term).

    Penciling in first Parkrun (Wimbledon Common) on 22nd November (I'll be happy with a 28:00). Aiming to get my thrice weekly runs up to 10k by around New Year and then 14k by February. Then I'll work on speed/strength and shifting the rest of the weight.

    I have trail shoes (Saucony Peregrine 4) for when it's not dry. They love the gloopy stuff.
