@.Keeley I freewheel so my speed goes from my usual 18-22mph down to 10-15mph. Maybe it's different in a car, the accelerator only has on/off settings to keep you at 30mph or is that cruise control?

This is exactly why you can't have unrestricted autobahn like motorways and 20mph zones full of cameras and yellow box junctions are here to stay. Just because you can doesn't mean you should, you are your worst enemy.
