Oh dear Wiggle.

Well, Wiggle are throwing somebody under the bus there aren't they.

Ah, go on then:

A fair response - let's see what happens.

Well, Wiggle are throwing somebody in the spokes there, aren't they?
-
• #310
You'd think by now Wiggle would have issued some kind or response to the claims.
-
• #311
Maybe they'll just send her some Haribo?
-
• #312
They've said they'll give an update at end of trading monday, that's a pretty snappy turnaround I'd say.
If you were cynical you might think that Glowinski timed her action so that there'd be a couple days over the weekend for it to go 'viral' before Wiggle were able to respond.

I can't wait for episode 2 of this jersey star wars saga.

At 23:12 on a Friday night she probably timed it with two bottles of wine...

'Help me Obi Wan, only you can save us now'.
The rôle of r2d2 as played by social media.
The Wiggle Death Star was wrong-footed by Princess Leah's plea for clemency arriving during the Empire's weekly beer & sausage party.
Now the legal eagles of the Resistance will try to stop the Empire selling so many toys.
Moral: we should ignore the galactic traders and head to one's LBS, then the Empire wouldn't be so damn powerful.
And don't eat the haribos.

Talking of LBS... I've had back-to-back-to-back shitty experiences with three 'new' London bike shops.
-

Name and shame?
I think when you are used to working on your own bikes any sloppiness from a mechanic you have paid for is especially annoying if you know you could have done better or done the job yourself if you owned the appropriate expensive tools.

I'd prefer not to. Just give 'em a chance to make a mistake.
-
• #321
Which is why I'd rather endorse places that have done good work for me, like Neil's Wheels.

From what I gathered on twitter, the Anna Glowinski jersey isn't in production anymore. So i'm not sure if loss of earnings is going to come into it, but it looks like bad luck for her.
A) No trademark
B) Stars on a jersey isn't an original idea
C) You wouldn't need to see original designs to draw inspiration, so a studio meeting can't be nailed down for 'This is when they copied me'Having said that, if I was in her situation I'd feel gutted and outraged but it's a lesson in business.
I'm sure Caveman #1 felt shit when Caveman #2 also made fire.

If you named and shamed the shit spanner monkeys round my manor, it'd be a long list...
-
• #324
Haribo are by far and away the only reason I continue to shop there. A smart move.
Damn that Haribo addiction!

Ignoring webshops and only using the LBS is a noble cause but when your LBS only buys the same brands of clothing and parts from Madison, Fisher and Zyro that every LBS in the city also buys and you can find the same stuff online cheaper and in less time than it'll take you to ride to the LBS ...
