I'm happy to organise the third LFGSS.CC ride in the likely absence of our Directeur Sportif Henry. It will be in Kent, around 80 miles, with a good mix of hills and flat bits.
The idea will be working on group skills as much as possible, but with every man for himself up the lumpy bits. I also have a section in mind where we could do a small bit of breakaway / group chasedown a la the Voigt ride to mix things up.
Am hoping that we can keep it at an 18mph average, and there will be a brief cafe stop.
This will probably be next Sunday (2nd November), starting 8.30am ish in the Herne Hill / Crystal Palace area. The date of the ride will be confirmed after I test my mojo and my legs this weekend following a period of illness and various injuries. Also, shit weather = no ride.
If there's sufficient interest I'll make an event, post a route, decide on the group size (likely to be 10-12 only I'm afraid), and, most importantly, think of a catchy and witty name for the ride.
Dear @6pt @eyebrows @Sumo @branwen @Hovis @bitterbuffalo @dbr @cjr @amey @dimi3 @FixedCheese, anyone else I may have forgotten from previous rides, and anyone else who reads this:
