  • Yeah mate!

It's opposite the furama takeaway if that helps! Google maps doesn't seem to like putting it in the right spot

  • Cool - I'll be round at 14.00.

  • Okay bud thanks!

  • Lock ring tool? Just had one fitted, however as they do soon as you put real power down into the cog it shifts! Don't really wanna be using a screwdriver and hammer!

  • Any old C-spanner should do just to nip it up - Bike Links have one, open 12-4 tomorrow. Or just go back to the Dandy?

  • Already used the screwdriver #impatient

  • Awesome - no bike build is complete without a good bodge!

  • Hammer + Screwdriver = Universal tool kit!

  • Except when it comes to hex screws!

  • You just need a bigger hammer!

  • Chain tool anyone? Mine decided it would re-thread itself last time i used it.. it's now been binned!

  • I may need some bolt cutters to fit the sensible-god-I'm-old mudguards I just bought. Anyone have a pair that I could borrow for a few days.

  • I know Matt has some if that's any good to you? I have some cable snips but they probably won't be up to the job, you're welcome to try them though

  • Ok thanks. I'll see how strong the strutts look.

  • No problem, let me know

  • Pipe cutter before i buy a hacksaw?

  • if its just the struts you need to cut through, save pennies by buying a hacksaw blade rather than a whole saw. Wrap it in insutape, and BOOM, you have a saw that's good for wee jobs.

  • p.s. (i'd lend you my hacksaw if it wasn't at me mam and dads.

  • Don't have a hacksaw or any type of saw in the house, and I can think of a few things that need sorting, they're £2 at ASDA, thanks though!

  • Has anyone got a proper lockring tool? Got to send some wheels and need to take one of the cogs off!

  • Not really a tool, but has anyone got a spare/old Turbo Trainer/pair of rollers that I could borrow/try out for a bit?

Have always been curious, but would regret buying anything if I don't get on with static riding, so would be good to try some for a day or two...

  • I've got an old magnetic one you're welcome to borrow.

  • I'll need to reattach the resistance unit though, as I last used the frame as a repair stand :-)

  • I'd love some rollers but reckon I'd fall off!

  • @BareNecessities
Aha, if you could cobble it back together that would be great, thanks! Do you reckon I could Heath-Robinson it into a rucksack for transit, or would it be a car job to pick it up?
