Thanks! they are a permanent fixture at markthalle neun and they are amazing in a "Berlin has almost no barbecue" kind of way but not like amazing amazing. I don't think they were doing anything special for it being breakfast.
If you are vegetarian there are a number of veggie things that were good but not much vegan (you are one of those two, right?)
The best permanent thing in that markthalle is the brewery. It's funny, because on the other side of town in Moabit there is another markthalle that also has a barbecue spot (smoked chicken there is hella good) and a brewery. Better barbecue, worse beer.

I was promised jook and sweet noodles. I have seen no such thing. Lots of different ways of combining eggs and truffels though. They have bagels which I may eat soon.
