  • Righto folks, am in the market for some new running shoes.

Having seen a physio (due to some running and riding related tendinits) and had a gait analysis at runner’s need, it appears that I need neutral shoes, even though I currently use Brooks Ravennas, which are for over-pronation.

I know it’s a really broad question, but, any recommendations on good sneaks? Anything that’s getting rave reviews at the moment, are on sale etc etc? I don’t really read up on running stuff and rarely venture into the running section of wiggle and the like so don’t know where to start at the moment.

Running is a secondary activity to riding for me, so I don’t really want to spend any more than about £70 if poss. I have narrow feet should that make a difference. I’m also planning on going back to runners need and trying some out.

    Danke

You're just going to get a list of shoes that people own and wear, or have had problems with.

Pick a colour that you like, with whatever support is recommended, within your budget, and run with them for a few tens of kilometres.

If they are comfortable, don't exacerbate your injury, then stick with the brand and model when you buy your next pair.
