Funny CCTV. I just took this because I like the ape-like appearance of the camera, and because I schlepped the 200mm with me all day without using it so far.
I can't hold a small, light camera (like my Nikon FG) still with a long lens like this, it's embarrassing. Waggling around like shit. So opted for 1/500 @ f4 to be on the safe side, though I know the lens is better @ 5.6
Still nice, I like that lens.Oh by the way, Berlin people -
I just discovered you can actually go in the "Park Inn" (the big hotel @ Alexanderplatz), and go to the 37th floor for free and have an awesome view (through the window) over the surrounding area (or pay to visit the "panorama bar" in the 40th floor, where you get to take pictures without a window in front of you)! -

Got a Contax T2 for sale. Good condition, some wear but as it's ti it wears in, not out. Everything works perfectly and it comes with the case / pouch, but no box. I've taken a couple of rolls with it and never missed a beat. Looking for £175, can send more photos

Those tones could be used as cake frosting!! Delicious

TK that cctv camera is class!

Cheers you two.
"Cake frosting", haha.
Yea I like these tones too, but will not be buying Kodakolor 200 again anytime soon I think.
Red-green color blindness surely doesn't help, but scanning this roll is definately a nightmare,
I often don't now what knobs to turn to make it look good, "auto" settings of SilverFast practically always look like shit to me.
Anyway, will put some of these up later.. -

Couple of hand held night shots from L.A. Leica M6, Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4, agfa vista 200. These were all at 1/30th f/1.4

Night shots are incredible, the kind I always try to take and fail.

So good.
Reminds me I need to get a voightlander 40mm f1.4 for my CLE.

That light..
Would love to see what this looked like shot on CineStill or some high ISO slide film.

I actually got some cinestill back yesterday and it was horribly grainy, I shot it at 640 ISO and had it developed as normal. Hoping it's just bad scanning but I won't be able to scan it myself until I replace my computer.

Great price and really tempted so I have one of my own. Any interest in a P/X for a GR1?
-
• #8919
...sorry if I'm being thick, but are those shots up there the Cine Still ones you mentioned ?
Don't look that grainy to me, and the colours look too "ordinary" for Cine Still (though I guess this is automatically corrected quick-lab scans).

Yup Cinestill shot with an 85b (if memory serves) filter, maybe grainy isn't the right word but they look over sharpened and a bit speckled on my screen, more so than other film I've had scanned at that jessops.

Cinestill shot with an 85b
..ah, ok - this explains a lot ;)
Yea, I can see what you mean with "oversharpened and speckled", though the first two you posted are pretty alright I think.
What lens, by the way?

Film or digi?

Gotta pass then I'm afraid. Could do with a compact digi, but my film days are mostly over. For now, until I buy everything again...
