How long is your thumb (measured from web to tip) and your index finger (measured from web to tip)?

This got some odd looks in the office.
Thumb- 7cm.
Forefinger - 14cm. -

You have monstrous hands. I don't have small hands, I measured mine to check how they size and can only conclude that you are a freak.

Neil - your hands are smaller than mine...?
Do you have a realistic fit expectation or are your hands large somewhere else?

My experience of winter gloves is that if the fabric is stetched taught over the end of a finger then that reduces the effect of the insulation, the XL gloves do that, not sure what else I can say.

cycling quicker :)

No. Wear arm warmers and ride at speeds not dictated by freezing bingo wings.

It's got to get a bit colder to make that acceptable...

If it's not Bont, it's shit.
Presumably you're particularly a fan of their removable bolt 'feature'..?
Think I might stick to my Sidis :P

Bolts are good, you can tighten them up again ... !

Bont replied to me on Instagram. Apparently it was just the cleat bolt that had come loose and it holds that rivet down. I hadn't noticed the loose bolt as it is for the Speedplay shim so under the cleat.

^ how am I supposed to wear knee high socks if I'm wearing leg warmers?
I'm guessing these are only good for ppl who wear winter tights?
It would look goofy as fuck with regular bibs, 3/4 bibs, and definitely would not fit under my knee/leg warmers without tearing the seams apart

Hot pants dude may own a few pairs of those...

Hot pants guy appeared around the same time as your increasingly desperate pleas in the 'Spotted' thread, no?
I've a theory developing...

I've worked out why you don't like wearing gloves Dov:

On the off chance anyone is after a PT jacket I have a couple that I bought in the sale that don't fit. I'll be sending them back this week (orange XXL and blue XL).

Gabbas are awesome. If you're planning to ride your bike this winter and don't own one, get one. Nice and warm for 50 miles in the pissing rain today.

• #17898
Yup - Gabba and a base-layer has been doing me well in rainy Bristol for the past few days.

I need to re-treat mine as the water repellancy is not so repellant.
Actually that's not really true, they almost fit, but the thumb and forefinger are just too short, which means they'd create cold spots as the fabric is drawn tight over the end of the digit.
I do like the orange ones, and might get them (winter) as the slightly too small thing doesn't really matter until you get to the deep-winter ones, which simply won't work for me and my freakish hands.
