I can't promise good, but if it's cheap and immediately available you need they might have something in Surrey Quays Decathlon.
I have the most expensive (still cheap) bib shorts and they are adequate enough. Probably best to call ahead though as a fruitless trip to Surrey Quays is a grim experience all round

Thanks - while their usual range look decent, for some reason their winter variants are really quite ugly indeed.

Padded is preferable, but if there are quality padless bargains to be found I'm listening.
